On December 15, 2025, Deputy Gengler was informed that Christopher Philip Bloomfield, [DOB REDACTED] was incarcerated in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center pursuant to an active warrant from Kankakee County, Illinois. Deputy Gengler contacted the Kankakee County, Illinois Sheriff's Office to confirm the warrant and their intent to extradite Christopher Philip Bloomfield from the State of Minnesota. On December 15, 2025 Deputy Gengler conducted an extradition interview with Christopher Philip Bloomfield at the Adult Detention Center. Christopher Philip Bloomfield verbally identified himself. Complainant has reasonable grounds to believe that Christopher Philip Bloomfield, who is currently in the custody of the Olmsted County Sheriff, is the person described in the documents received from the State of Illinois and is a fugitive from justice. The said Christopher Philip Bloomfield should be brought before the Olmsted County District Court so that he may be advised of his rights and a determination be made whether or not he waives extradition to the State of Illinois or whether he contests and demands a hearing relative to the right of the State of Illinois to return him to the State of Illinois.
