Probable Cause
On December 8, 2024, Deputies with the Anoka County Sheriffs Office were on patrol when they observed a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu bearing MN license plate NWS017 travelling eastbound on Viking Boulevard NE in Bethel, Anoka County. The Deputy knew the driver of this vehicle to be Dakota John Uhrich [DOB REDACTED], Defendant hereinafter, and to have a revoked drivers license. The Deputy observed the driver to have similar features to the Defendant. The vehicle crossed the shoulder line and did not properly signal before turning, therefore a traffic stop was initiated near Westbound 181st Ave NE and Hwy 65 NE. The Defendant was placed under arrest for driving with a revoked license status.
The Defendant informed the Deputy he had narcotics on his person, and the deputy found two baggies suspected to be methamphetamine. These two baggies were sent to the Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory where it was confirmed to contain methamphetamine and weighed a total of 25.255 grams.
