On July 23, 2025, at approximately 1900 hours, Maple Grove Police Officers responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED], Maple Grove, Hennepin County, for a welfare check. The reporting party, L. D., reported that his daughter was in the home and acting erratically. His daughter was identified as KRISTIN MICHELLE DENNISON, Defendant herein. L. D. Reported that the Defendant appeared to be under the influence, was slamming doors, and carrying a baseball bat around the house. In route to the home, Officers learned that the Defendant had active warrants for her arrest.
When Officers arrived, L. D. Was opening the garage door and meeting Officers. The Defendant was also in the garage and refused to cooperate with an arrest for her warrants. The Defendant attempted to walk away from Officers and then flailed her body in an attempt to get away from Officers. The Defendant was eventually apprehended and placed in a squad car. Officers then observed a plastic baggie hanging out of the Defendant's shirt with a substance consistent with narcotics inside. In the Defendant's purse was tin foil with burn marks and cut straws.
On November 25, 2025, Officers learned that BCA testing showed the substance in the baggie contained heroin and fentanyl and weighed 0.996 grams. The Defendant is currently out of custody.
