At 11:25 PM on December 2, 2025, officers were sent to [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County on a domestic assault involving a knife. Officers spoke to JG [DOB REDACTED] who said he had been threatened by his brother, LENZIE LEE GEORGE [DOB REDACTED]. JG explained that George has lived with JG’s family for 9 years. George has been acting aggressively toward JG’s family. JG thinks George has been using a new drug because George’s behavior has been worsening over the past few weeks. JG has been reluctant to report George’s behavior because he didn’t want to kick George out onto the street.
George was acting erratically and was out of control all day. George went in and out of the house yelling comments about kicking people’s asses. George said, “I’ll kill a m***********.” At one point, George opened the refrigerator, and JG told George to buy his own food. George said, “I’ll beat your ass. I’ll kill you.” JG began recording George with his phone. The recording made George angrier, and George threatened JG and JG’s sons. George ran into the kitchen, grabbed a block of knives, and walked toward JG while holding the block of knives.
JG felt that the situation could escalate, and he feared for his safety and the safety of his children who were also in the home. JG called for police. JG showed police a video from the incident. The video showed George grabbing the handle of a knife in the knife block and picking up the entire block. George pointed the block at JG, walked into the living room, and set the knife block down next to JG. George has 7 prior felony convictions – each conviction is a qualified domestic violence-related offense.
