In April 2026, the Minneapolis Police Department began investigating a predatory offender that the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension had marked noncompliant. Information from the BCA showed that JEREMIAH DANO ANDERSON, born on [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had not completed his weekly check-in with law enforcement since being released from jail on January 4, 2026. Due to a May 15, 2019 conviction for Third-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct in court file #27-CR-19-3778, Defendant must register as a predatory offender.
The BCA has assigned Defendant as a risk level two. Between January 5 - April 15, 2026, Defendant had not completed his required weekly check-in under his registration requirement. Law enforcement’s investigation showed that Defendant completed annual registration paperwork in June 2025 and initialed information about his obligations to update his primary address and his obligations should he lack a primary address in the future. In July 2025, Defendant updated his primary address to homeless in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Defendant stopped completing the required weekly check-ins. He also did not update his primary address. In November 2025, Defendant obtained a new driver’s license and listed [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Minneapolis as his address. Law enforcement learned that the registered owner of that property died in December 2025 and the owner’s daughter reported that she did not know Defendant. Defendant has a prior conviction for Predatory Offender Registration from February 28, 2024, in court file #62-CR-23-309. Defendant has active warrants in court file #s 02-CR-26-1127 and 27-CR-26-658. He is also listed as a wanted fugitive on the Minnesota Department of Corrections’s website.
As a result, the State asks that a warrant issue here.
