Probable Cause
On October 1, 2025, law enforcement officers with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office West Metro Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at [ADDRESS REDACTED] South, Apartment 2, in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The target of the investigation was JOSE MANUEL JIMENEZ- ZAMORANO, DEFENDANT herein. An adult female was present inside, but DEFENDANT was not. However, DEFENDANT was listed as the tenant of the unit, and was tied to the premises in pre-warrant surveillance. Officers conducted a systematic search of the apartment and located a large quantity of methamphetamine from a tote in the in the southwest bedroom.
There was also a mailer in DEFENDANT'S name in the tote. There were also two suitcases with more methamphetamine in the bedroom closet, along with additional narcotics packaging. In total, law enforcement recovered approximately 144.3 pounds of methamphetamine. This quantity is significantly more than personal use amount and indicates intent to sell. The female provided a statement that DEFENDANT lives in the apartment and uses the bedroom where the methamphetamine was found. DEFENDANT'S whereabouts are unknown.
