On 1/19/2026 two individuals were at a planet fitness located in the City of Coon Rapids in the County of Anoka. They stored their belongings in a locker, and after they had returned, they realized that they belongings had been stolen. Included among several pieces of personal property were several credit cards. The victims noticed immediately that multiple transactions had been attempted with the cards. The total value of the miscellaneous personal property was $778. The total value of the completed and attempted transactions on the stolen cards was $1,813.73. The total value of the theft is therefore $2,591.73. One of the individuals who was eventually identified as the perpetrators was Akram Hussein Mousa Abushanap [DOB REDACTED], herein Defendant.
Defendant did not remove items from locker, but attempted multiple transactions on the cards.
