The Complainant having reviewed the applicable reports believes the following facts to be true: On September 1, 2025 at approximately noon, a St. Paul police officer was working off duty at Target located at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. In the city of St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota when he was notified by a loss prevention officer that a female, later identified as Kathleen Mattraca Beaupre, [DOB REDACTED], defendant herein, was observed taking $197.40 worth of merchandise without attempting to pay for any of the the items.
Defendant did not have a claim of right to any of those items. Defendant did pay for some items and then later entered the bathroom, hid $197.40 worth of items in her existing bags and then left the store and passed all points of sale without attempting to pay for any of the items. Defendant was approached by St. Paul police outside the store and asked her name. She identified herself as Genevieve Marie Larson, [DOB REDACTED], a real person. The officer looked up that person in DVS and defendant was clearly not that person based on the photo.
The officer told defendant if she told him her real name he would not arrest her. She responded "even if I have warrants?" A check revealed she had been trespassed from Target on May 7, 2025 for a one year period. Defendant then admitted that she lied about her name. Defendant has no permanent address so we are requesting a complaint and warrant.
