On 12/01/2025 at approximately 0104 hours, law enforcement officers with the St. Louis Park Police Department responded on an alarm for an ATM being stolen from inside a bar located on Walker Street in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County (Victim Location). Surveillance revealed two suspects that used a tool to gain access to the bar portion of the building without permission and during a time when the area was not open to the public. The two individuals acted collectively to shoulder the ATM loose, drag it out of the building, and then leave with the ATM in a vehicle.
It was estimated that the ATM contained approximately $9,540 in cash. The ATM was subsequently recovered a few days later in St. Paul under a bridge. The suspects in the surveillance video appear with gloves and covered faces, but they appear to be male. Law enforcement developed leads through other similar incidents, specifically ASF and DYLAN MICHAEL METCALF, [DOB REDACTED] (METCALF). Law enforcement obtained associated cellphone numbers and pursued logical investigation including data information for those numbers.
Location data puts the cellphones of ASF and METCALF together the night of the burglary, including near METCALF's known residence on 11/30/25. METCALF's phone was near his residence on 11/30/25 at 2114-2227 hours. The phone the appears at Victim Location on 12/01/25 on 12/1/25 at 0002 hours. METCALF's associated phone then appears back in the area of METCALF's residence on 12/01/25 at 0248 on 12/01/25. The phone then appears at the location of the recovered ATM on 12/01/25 at 1826 hours. METCALF is charged for similar conduct in Court File ••-CR-••-••••. The conduct therein involves burglarizing an ATM from a pub and then discarding the empty ATM. ASF and METCALF are co- defendants in that file.
A summons is requested as METCALF has a hearing scheduled for 05/12/2026.
