On or about May 20, 2025, detectives with the Rochester Police Department obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 1600 block of 10th Street SE, in Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota. The warrant also allowed for the search of Keith Allen Wilcox, [DOB REDACTED] (hereinafter “Defendant”). Before the warrant was executed, detectives met with Defendant at the Law Enforcement Center. During the meeting, Defendant admitted that he was in possession of approximately “an ounce” of methamphetamine and that it was located behind a panel under his refrigerator.
During a search of the residence, detectives located two clear plastic baggies underneath the refrigerator. Inside the baggies was a large amount of suspected methamphetamine. The substance later field tested positive and weighed a total of 44.5 grams. Wilcox had previously been convicted of a 5th Degree Controlled substance violation in court file 79-CR- 18-916. FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR COURT IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CRIMINAL CHARGES BEING IMPOSED AND PUNISHED AS PROVIDED IN MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 609.49.
