Keith Blasingame

On December 22, 2025, Minneapolis police officers were dispatched to a stabbing at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Upon arrival, officers encountered the suspect, Keith Blasingame, born on [DOB REDACTED], herein DEFENDANT. Officers observed blood on DEFENDANT and a laceration to the top of his head. DEFENDANT was seen by EMS and transported to the hospital to treat his injuries. Officers spoke with DEFENDANT’s daughter, T. C. (17 years old), who stated she was inside her bedroom when she heard DEFENDANT and her brother, R. R., herein Victim, arguing.

When T. C. Came out of her bedroom she saw DEFENDANT stab Victim with a knife. T. C. Also stated DEFENDANT was waving the knife around his head and possibly injured himself with the knife. Another witness, [NAME REDACTED]’s mother, N. R., also witnessed DEFENDANT stab Victim. Officers located Victim nearby with the stab wound to his left shoulder. Another witness, [NAME REDACTED], called police later in the investigation. O. J. Stated he was inside the apartment and saw DEFENDANT stab Victim and that N. R. Hit DEFENDANT with a chair afterwards.

DEFENDANT is currently in custody.
