The Complainant having reviewed the applicable reports believes the following facts to be true: On July 05, 2025, at approximately 02:40 A.M., a Minnesota State Patrol Trooper was patrolling eastbound on I-94 approaching the exit lanes for southbound Hwy 61 and observed a vehicle drifting over lines, failing to follow posted speed signs, no working brake lights and making jerky steering corrections. The vehicle was a silver Mercedes C, bearing Minnesota license plate [PLATE REDACTED]. The driver of the vehicle was eventually identified as Sherrea Monet Martin, [DOB REDACTED], MN [DL# REDACTED] S929108185120, defendant herein.
The trooper conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Defendant where he observed a strong odor of consumed alcohol, slurred speech and watery eyes. Defendant admitted to consuming two (2) alcoholic beverages. She did poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was transported to the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center. At approximately 04:04 A.M., agreed to take a breath test, the result of which was a.20 alcohol concentration. Pursuant to the requirements of Minnesota Statutes Sections 169A.40 and 169A.44, a warrant is requested.
