On November 2, 2025, at approximately 7:40 PM, St. Cloud Police responded to a knife complaint at an apartment complex on 33rd Avenue North in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival, they made contact with the victim, Adult A, who resided at the apartment complex. Adult A reported that she was in the laundry room that evening when an adult male entered the room and began yelling at her. Adult A reported that the suspect was holding a knife up while standing approximately three feet away from her.
Adult A reported that she was fearful and left the room to call 911. Law enforcement obtained surveillance footage of the laundry room. The footage shows the suspect entering the laundry room and angrily pulling wet laundry out of the washing machine and throwing it at the ground. The footage later shows Adult A entering the laundry room. In a few moments, the suspect, later identified as Bazi Abdulkadir Sheikh, [DOB REDACTED], enters the room holding an object in his right hand. The defendant raises the object from holding it down at his side as if to point at something.
Police learned the defendant also resided in the apartment complex and made contact with him that evening. The defendant turned over a knife, which he admitted to having on his possession when he encountered Adult A in the laundry room. The defendant denied having threatened the victim [NAME REDACTED], but admitted to having yelled at the victim [NAME REDACTED]. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or about the 2nd day of November, 2025, in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
