On October 21st, 2025, officers from the Woodbury Police Department responded to a report of financial transaction card fraud that occurred at various locations that morning in the City of Woodbury, within Washington County. Officers spoke with JL (an adult male, fully identified in the reports) who stated that his car had been broken into overnight and now someone was using his Wells Fargo card that morning. Officers checked the card history, and discovered that from approximately 9:00 AM to approximately 10:30 AM, someone used JL's card at CVS Pharmacy located at 8468 Tamarack Bay, with a declined charge of $111.29, and an actual charge of $111.90, Holiday located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], with a charge of $2.99, Famous Footwear located at 8278 Tamarack Village, with charges of $84.99 and $69.99, Ross Dress located at 8268 Tamarack Village with a charge of $37.98, and Lyft with a charge of $18.79, all of which are located in the City of Woodbury.
Officers were able to obtain surveillance footage from the businesses, and identified a male using the cards as DENIS NIKOLYICH DOSHCHECHKIN [DOB REDACTED], the defendant. Officers had contact with the defendant the evening prior and noted he was wearing the same clothing in surveillance video. The defendant has no permanent address, and his whereabouts are unknown, therefore a warrant is being requested to secure his appearance in court.
