On December 28, 2025, at approximately 3:13 A.M., Saint Paul Officers responded to the 1600 block of Fremont Avenue, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, on a criminal damage to property. Officers arrived and spoke with EC. EC said he dropped off his girlfriend-CV- near her house. EC was in his truck-a 2014 black Dodge Ram 1500. After dropping off CV, he saw a male (later identified as HELIODORO SANCHEZ FLORES, [DOB REDACTED]) holding a metal bat walk toward his truck. FLORES is CV’s husband. FLORES walked up to the driver’s side of his truck with the metal bat in his right hand, and then went to the front of the truck.
FLORES held the bat with both hands and smashed the front driver’s side window of his truck, shattering it. FLORES pointed the bat at him and said, “I’ll f*** you up. You shouldn’t be here.” EC drove away in fear. EC said he saw FLORES walk into the residence at [ADDRESS REDACTED] with the metal bat. EC described the bat as a regular size bat with gray/silver color. The front driver’s side window of EC’s truck was shattered and there was glass on the floorboard, inside the driver’s door pocket, and on the front driver’s seat.
There was shattered glass near the intersection of Fremont Avenue and Germain Street. Officers went to [ADDRESS REDACTED], knocked on the door, and FLORES answered. FLORES was arrested. FLORES said he is married and “she is f****** her boyfriend.” He admitted breaking the window of the truck. EC confirmed FLORES was the male who shattered his truck window with the bat. FLORES declined a formal interview with an officer. He did say he would pay for the damages to the truck. Officers obtained a search warrant to search the residence at [ADDRESS REDACTED] for the bat.
Officers found the gray/silver metal baseball bat in the upper level of the residence on top of a basket of clothes. The baseball bat had some chip damage.
