On 1/11/2026, Officers with the St. Francis PD were dispatched to a house in the City of St. Francis in the County of Anoka. A few minutes before, a man, later identified as Isaiah Shamar Walker [DOB REDACTED], herein Defendant, had been circling the house. One of the reporting witnesses, TDD, had noticed the Defendant on exterior cameras located around the residence. TDD initially thought the Defendant was an Amazon delivery employee, but became suspicious when the Defendant began to circle the house.
TDD retrieved his firearm, and went to the front of the door, where he saw the Defendant trying to enter the residence. When he turned on the light, the Defendant was standing in the doorway with an 8 inch knife. When the Defendant saw TDD's firearm, he said "I'm dead" and fled the area, leaving the knife and his backpack. After the Defendant was apprehended, the backpack was found to contain a "EMI" device, used to disable electronic locks on doors, security cameras, and security systems. After apprehension, Defendant confirmed that the knife belonged to him.
Aside from TDD, his wife JMP and their two children ages 3 and 5 were in the residence.
