Alfredo Carrasco

On October 7, 2025, AS reported that mail delivered to his Stacy address on September 27, 2025 had been stolen from their mailbox. AS had been expecting a check related to a roof replacement. On October 3, 2025, AS got a call from Your Exchange Money Center about a man claiming to be AS’s cousin trying to cash the check. AS told the business that the check had been stolen and the transaction was not completed. At around 3:30 PM on October 3, 2025, ALFREDO CARRASCO [DOB REDACTED] went to Your Exchange Money Center at [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County.

Carrasco presented a check payable to AS drawn on the account of Evolution Risk Advisors in the amount of $3837.16 for cashing. The back of the check had an endorsement on the back in AS’s name and marked pay to the order of an unreadable signature. Surveillance video showed that Carrasco was the man who presented the check for cashing. Carrasco has 9 prior felony convictions.
