Lamar Brayon Long

That on April 3, 2026, at approximately 9:58 P.M., Hennepin County Deputies stopped a vehicle with Minnesota license plate number ZYD756 for illegal tint at Lake Street and Hennepin in the city of Minneapolis, county of Hennepin, state of Minnesota. The front passenger of the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt. When asked to provide identification, Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the passenger. The passenger and also observed a white powdery substance on his lap. The passenger then pulled out a large bag of marijuana.

Both passenger and the driver, later identified as Lamar Brayon Long, DEFENDANT herein, were asked to step out of the vehicle so it could be searched. When the Defendant was pat searched, deputies discovered a.38 caliber Taurus Spectrum handgun, Serial No 1F030308. Routines checks revealed the Defendant did not possess a permit to carry.
