On November 25, 2024, at approximately 12:15 A.M., officers of the St. Louis Park Police Department responded to an apartment at [ADDRESS REDACTED], City of St. Louis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, regarding a 911 call made by VICTIM [NAME REDACTED] (VICTIM HEREIN) who was noticeably distraught and reported that she was involved in a domestic altercation with her romantic partner, DARIUS DESHAWN STANLEY [DOB REDACTED], DEFENDANT herein. Officers contacted VICTIM and observed her to be in obvious distress and demonstrating indicators of fear.
VICTIM relayed that she and DEFENDANT share a child in common and that they had been engaged in a verbal altercation when DEFENDANT accused VICTIM [NAME REDACTED]. This caused VICITM to attempt to call 911 an initial time. DEFENDANT then came behind VICTIM and placed his hands around her neck and throat and according to VICTIM, threw her around the room. VICTIM also stated that DEFENDANT then punched her in the back of the head at least three times causing pain. Officers were able to observe some markings on VICTIM’s body consistent with a physical altercation to include redness at the bass of VICTIM’s neck and an abrasion on her knee.
VICTIM informed officers that DEFENDANT’s conduct caused her reasonable apprehension that he would cause further bodily injury and that she was in terror he would continue to harm her. This caused her to call 911 a second time. DEFENDANT then fled the scene. DEFENDANT has three prior QDVRO convictions since 2023: (1) Violation of DANCO, ••-CR-••-••••, convicted 10/3/2023; (2) Violation of DANCO, ••-CR-••-••••, convicted 10/3/2023; and (3) Violation of DANCO, ••-CR-••-••••, convicted 4/8/2024. DEFENDANT is not in custody and is presently the subject of an active hold without bond arrest warrant in ••-CR-••-•••• issued on 12/9/2025 for failing to report to the Anoka County Workhouse.
The State requests a Complaint Warrant issue.
