On March 12, 2026, at approximately 4:20 P.M., officers running routine checks on vehicles at the Wal-Mart at [ADDRESS REDACTED]., Bloomington, Hennepin County, MN learned that the driver of a vehicle, TERRENCE ROBERT ADAMS JR. ([DOB REDACTED]), Defendant herein, had a third-degree drug warrant out of Dakota County. While officers waited to arrest Defendant in the vestibule at Wal-Mart, officers went to the Defendant's car in the parking lot and through the window in plain view, observed a Draco/AK-style firearm on Defendant's driver's side floorboard.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers also found approximately 5 grams of field- test-positive cocaine. Defendant is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a 2018 second-degree assault conviction. Defendant is in custody.
