On March 26, 2026, at 1356 hours, Roseville police officers responded to Marshall’s, 2401 Fairview, Roseville, Ramsey County, on a report of two males, later identified as Kaishon Florian Hicks, [DOB REDACTED], and Abdalla Sharif-Mohamed Ali, [DOB REDACTED], actively shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention employees advised that both males worked together to fill a rolling suitcase with $783.76 in merchandise. They exited the store without paying for the merchandise. Officers arrested both males and recovered the merchandise.
The males were with a third party who was concealing merchandise, but he saw his companions arrested and abandoned the goods before attempting to flee from the store. Hicks has three prior felony theft convictions in 2025, including a conviction for Theft (f), 82CR242598, 03/24/2025. Hicks has 20 pending theft-related cases in Minnesota from 2024-2026. Ali has 3 felony theft convictions and 3 burglary in the third degree convictions in 2024 and 2025, including a conviction for Theft (f), 27CR232293. Ali has a pending felony theft charge in Hennepin County.
At the time of their arrests, both men had warrants for their arrests. Hicks claimed that he had ingested fentanyl prior to his arrest so officers transported him to the hospital to be medically cleared. He was not booked in jail.
