The Complainant having reviewed the applicable reports believes the following facts to be true: On October 28, 2025, officers with the St. Paul Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Birmingham Street in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota for a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, they spoke with P. L. M. And E. J. C., both fully identified in the police reports. P. L. M. Reported that she had been trying to reconcile with her child’s father, Nevin Erickson, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, but they continued to argue frequently.
That day, they argued because the defendant wanted to go to Rush City away from her family, whereas P. L. M. Did not want to leave since they had plans for Halloween. E. J. C. Intervened and told the defendant to stop being controlling. The defendant became angry and left in a vehicle with P. L. M. And their child. As he drove away, he complained about the way E. J. C. Spoke to him. P. L. M. Disagreed and stated E. J. C. Was not being disrespectful. The defendant replied by stating, “I’ll smack the s*** out of you.” He angrily made a U-turn and drove back to the Birmingham Street address, where he rammed into E. J. C.’s vehicle.
P. L. M. Asked him to stop but he initially refused. He eventually stopped when P. L. M. Opened the door and placed her foot outside. She got out of the vehicle with their child. They continued to argue until the defendant drove off, running over P. L. M.’s foot in the process. P. L. M. Reported being fearful of the defendant because she did not know what he was capable of. Officers also observed some damage to E. J. C.’s vehicle.
