On August 4, 2025, Bloomington Police Department officers responded to a call from a school located at 9901 Bloomington Freeway East in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party noted that an unwanted individual, later identified as RANDALL MICHAEL AHO, hereinafter Defendant, was on the property. The reporting party stated that Defendant was outside the school in the field dancing around and throwing sticks while school programming was in session. Upon making contact with Defendant, officers observed signs of narcotics use based on his behavior.
Officers inquired about narcotics use and Defendant admitted to having consumed fentanyl earlier in the day. Defendant also informed officers that he was currently in possession of fentanyl. Defendant voluntarily permitted officers to retrieve the aforementioned controlled substance from his hoodie pocket. Officers field tested said substance, returning a positive result for the presence of fentanyl, a controlled substance. The fentanyl in Defendant's possession weighed approximately.09 grams without packaging.
Defendant has prior convictions for Chapter 152 crimes including MNCIS case number ••-CR-••-•••• with a conviction date of November 17, 2023. Defendant is currently on supervised probation in case number ••-CR-••-••••. Defendant is not currently in custody. The State respectfully requests this complaint issue via summons.
