On or about November 25, 2025, Minneapolis police officers responded to a domestic incident that occurred at a residence located on the 2600 block of 16th Avenue South, in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon arrival, officers met with adult female Victim outside the house and her friend. The friend had called police asking for a welfare check. Victim reported her ex-boyfriend assaulted and raped her the day before. She identified her ex-boyfriend as CLINTEN MICHAEL LARSON [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter “Defendant.” Officers observed numerous bruises all over Victim’s body and head, including several large, raised bruises on the right side of her head.
Victim was extremely scared of Defendant, believed he has access to firearms and believed Defendant would commit suicide by cop if they tried to arrest him. Victim stated she and Defendant were in a relationship between March and July of 2025 but she ended the relationship when he tried to strangle her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on Thursday, November 20, 2025, when Defendant came to her house and asked her for help filling out some paperwork. Between Friday, November 21, 2025, and Monday, November 24, 2025, Defendant stayed at her house and assaulted her several times.
Defendant also forced her to smoke meth with him. At one point, Defendant was screaming at her and she pulled out her phone to call police. Defendant became angry and took her phone away. He then dragged her by the hair to the bedroom and tied up her legs and hands with duct tape. Defendant threatened to kill her, to dig a hole and bury her in the basement, and to set her on fire. He also poured liquids on her and threw various items at her. Defendant would calm down at times and eventually release her from the binding.
During the next couple days, Defendant also strangled her, squeezing her neck until she could not breathe. Defendant was angry about different things including blaming her for losing money and accuse her of seeing another man. On Monday, November 24, 2025, Defendant punched her numerous times in the head, causing significant welts on her head. At one point, Defendant asked her, “What am I going to do with this giant boner?” Victim did not say anything because she was extremely scared. Defendant told her to lie down on the bed and she complied.
Defendant then penetrated Victim’s vagina with his penis. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was in a lot of pain but Defendant ignored her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] has been violent with her in the past. Defendant has prior convictions for HRO Violation on April 10, 2024, in court file no. 02-CR-24-81, and HRO Violation on November 6, 2023, in court file no. 02-CR-23-5761. Defendant poses a danger to public safety and is currently in custody at the Anoka County jail. The State respectfully requests a warrant issue with this complaint.
