At approximately 12:31 P.M. On March 3, 2026, Woodbury Police Officers were contacted regarding a theft that occurred that day at the Dick's Sporting Goods store located at 8292 Tamarack Village in the City of Woodbury, Washington County, State of Minnesota. The suspect was described as a 20-year-old black male who had left the store with multiple Nike Tech jackets. The suspect was observed getting into the passenger seat of a black Ford Edge. The vehicle was not displaying a rear license plate. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
The passenger of the car was identified as MATELL MARTAIZ RANDLE [DOB REDACTED]. Officers located multiple Nike items inside the vehicle valued at $698.98. RANDLE told officers that he grabbed the items and left the store without attempting to make payment. RANDLE said he needed the clothes and was homeless and struggling with a fentanyl addiction. RANDLE was convicted of a theft on August 24, 2021 (Ramsey County Court File No.: 62-CR-18-1285).
