On 10/16/2025, a State Trooper on patrol observed a Vehicle merge onto eastbound I-94 from 49th Ave in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. As the Vehicle continued down eastbound I-94, the Trooper observed the Vehicle drift over its lane line multiple times. The Trooper then activated his squad vehicle’s emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop of the Vehicle. The Vehicle eventually exited onto Broadway Ave, at which point the Trooper used his loudspeaker to instruct the driver to stop, which the Vehicle did not do.
The Trooper then attempted to position his squad vehicle in front of the Vehicle and observed the driver as he was doing so. The Trooper was able to position his squad vehicle in front of the Vehicle, and the Trooper exited his squad vehicle. As the Trooper was exiting his squad vehicle, the Vehicle made slight contact with the squad vehicle as it drove past it. The Trooper did not pursue the Vehicle. The Trooper was then able to confirm the identity of the driver using MN DVS records and observed the driver of the Vehicle was the registered owner, Aaron Lynn Jennings, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein.
The Trooper then went to the registered address of Defendant and observed the Vehicle parked in the driveway. Troopers were not able to locate Defendant.
