On September 19, 2025 at approximately 1756 hours, an Edina Police Department Officer was dispatched to Extra Storage Space located at [address omitted] South in Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota on a report of a burglary. The Storage Manager found the door to Unit #2281 completely open around 1530 hours that day. N. L., the renter of Unit #2281, confirmed she was not there and did not open the unit. The metal lock on Unit #2281 had been pried away from the door. N. L. Found several items missing from Unit #2281, some of which included: various golf clubs and sets, clothing items, and a Tumi suitcase.
N. L. Had an additional storage unit down the hall, Unit #2233. N. L. Found several boxes in the unit were now cut open. N. L. Observed two bikes missing from Unit #2233 which included both a men’s and women’s Specialized bike. Edina Police Officer(s) reviewed internal access code logs with the Storage Manager and found a renter with a name of "Tyron Hudson" who gained access to the garage on September 19, 2025 at 0015 hours. Upon reviewing camera footage, a Subaru vehicle drove into the garage bay.
A white male exited the Subaru vehicle, "Suspect 1" herein. Suspect 1 is observed on camera entering the building and taking the elevator to the second floor before leaving in the Subaru shortly after. Suspect 1 then returns at approximately 0325 hours. The Subaru vehicle is a light blue Subaru Impreza with a missing rear bumper. A second vehicle, a black Ford F-150 arrives at approximately 0445 hours and uses a passcode which belongs to "Tyron Hudson’s" account to enter the garage. A heavy-set white male, "Suspect 2" herein, can be getting out of the truck, along with a white female with heavily tattooed arms, "Suspect 3" herein.
The F- 150 is black in color with an extended cab and a gray stripe along the bottom of the truck. The first two letters of the front license plate on the F-150 are "PR." Suspect 1, 2, and 3 appear to be working together and interacting with one another as items from N. L.'s units are transported using carts and loaded into the F-150 and Subaru vehicles. Both vehicles leave the garage at approximately 0630 hours. "Tyron Hudson" was found to have rented Unit #2229 on September 18, 2025 at 2252 hours.
In the transaction, the "24 hour access package" was purchased and a driver’s license number was provided for Tyrone Hudson. A record check on Mr. Hudson's license information revealed his appearance was inconsistent with Suspect 1, 2, and 3. Through investigation, Suspect 1 was identified as Thomas Joseph Anderson ([DOB redacted]), "DEFENDANT ANDERSON" herein. DEFENDANT ANDERSON and a female suspect, Tyler Marie Spah ([DOB redacted]), "DEFENDANT SPAH" herein, were found in a truck bearing a Minnesota License plate starting with "PR" on August 28, 2025. DEFENDANT SPAH has heavily tattooed arms and matches the description of Suspect 3. Through investigation, DEFENDANT SPAH and DEFENDANT ANDERSON were also found to be associated with the blue Subaru with the missing bumper.
