PIKE is now married to Adult Male A's father and lives in Brookfield, Missouri. Adult Male A has not visited PIKE since the beginning of 2023. Adult Male A has not been out of the State of Minnesota since 2021. PIKE oversees his finances and takes care of the money that he receives from Social Security. Adult Male A has a card connected to his Cash App account that he can use to make purchases.
The Cash App account and associated card are separate from and have no connection to his Wells Fargo checking account that PIKE manages for his Social Security funds. PIKE usually puts about $100-$150 per month on his Cash App that Adult Male A uses for spending money. Besides the money PIKE puts on his Cash App, PIKE does not give Adult Male A any other direct assistance. PIKE oversees the payment of Adult Male A's room and board. PIKE sent Adult Male A a text message on December 12th stating, "I'm trying to get caught up on your rent, it's super hard.
They probably will remove me as your rep payee." PIKE also stated via text, "Just to give you some spending money is also hard." Adult Male A believes there are recurring payments for Hulu, Disney Plus, and some gaming apps through his Wells Fargo account that PIKE manages. Adult Male A's father is currently incarcerated in prison in Fairbault, Minnesota, and has been there since 2023. Any charges on Adult Male A's Wells Fargo account that originated in Missouri, including food and grocery store purchases, are not charges that he is aware of.
Adult Male A does not have access to make cash withdrawals from his Wells Fargo account, and the only funds Adult Male A directly receives from that account are those transferred to him by PIKE through Cash App. On December 30, 2025, Detective Evans spoke with PIKE.
