PIKE said she has been unable to fully meet these responsibilities due to significant financial hardship following her husband's incarceration in Fairbault, Minnesota. PIKE acknowledged she is behind on Adult Male A's payments. PIKE said she provides Adult Male A with approximately $100 to $150 per month in personal spending money via Cash App. PIKE said she pays several recurring expenses, including streaming services, for Adult Male A through his Wells Fargo account. PIKE said if she provides $150 per month to Adult Male A, there is insufficient funds remaining to cover the full cost of his room and board.
PIKE admitted she has used some of Adult Male A's Social Security funds to purchase groceries and other items for herself and her other children. PIKE said she understands that Adult Male A's Social Security funds are intended solely for his use. PIKE claimed she is doing what she can to manage financially at this time. PIKE said she spoke with an employee at the Social Security Administration and is aware that she could be held legally responsible for mismanagement of Adult Male A's funds.
