On November 20, 2025, at approximately 2:20 A.M., Minneapolis Police Department officers were called to a suspicious person using narcotics and refusing to leave the landing of a building located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] South in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon making contact with the individual later identified as OLAJUWON DONTRELL LEWIS, hereinafter Defendant, officers observed a small gray bag containing a rock-like substance within Defendant's reach. Defendant was arrested. Search incident to arrest revealed several post it notes with a powdery substance therein.

Officers field-tested the aforementioned substances, returning a positive result for the presence of fentanyl, a controlled substance. The total weight of the controlled substance is approximately 5.76 grams. Additionally, officers located a loaded and chambered red and white Taurus Spectrum handgun on Defendant's person. Defendant is currently in custody. The State respectfully requests this complaint issue via order of attention.
