On November 5, 2025, Waite Park Officer Ogle went to an address at the 300 block of Seventh Street South in the City of Waite Park, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota for a predatory offender registration compliance check. The subject was Gauge Riley Klassen, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein. The defendant was required to register as a predatory offender and, in November 2025, had registered this primary address without having listed any secondary addresses. The defendant had also initialled every paragraph of his duty-to-register form, acknowledging his understanding that he was required to report any changes in his primary address at least five days prior to moving.
Officer Ogle went to the primary address and made contact with the resident, who reported that the defendant had began sporadically staying at the apartment in June of 2025 for a few days then would leave. The resident told Officer Ogle that the defendant never paid rent and in October of 2025, stopped staying there. The resident hasn't seen the defendant since October of 2025. Given the reports of the defendant's whereabouts, there is a substantial likelihood the defendant would not respond to a summons.
The State would therefore respectfully request a warrant for the defendant's arrest. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or about the 5th day of November, 2025, in the City of Waite Park, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offense described herein.
