Probable Cause
On 11/26/2025, Deputy Grams of the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office was on routine patrol in Anoka County when he observed a vehicle traveling while under a KOPS Alert. Deputy Grams activated his emergency lights and initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Timothy Michael Larson, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant, who was also the subject of the KOPS Alert. While Deputy Grams was speaking with Defendant, Defendant grabbed a handgun from his pocket and attempted to rack it.
Deputy Grams ran back and took cover behind his squad car. Defendant then put his car into gear and drove away. Deputy Grams did not pursue the fleeing vehicle.
