On December 16, 2025, at approximately 7:42 P.M., Saint Cloud Police Officer Nicholas Pusateri was dispatched to Tenvoorde Ford on Rosevelt Road, city of Saint Cloud, county of Stearns for reports of a stolen vehicle from the property. Officer Pusateri was made aware by Ford employee R. N. A [DOB REDACTED] that a vehicle that was just finished with service was missing from their lot. The vehicle was a 2025 Ford Transit with MN temporary license plate number 03908297 with dealership tabs on it. It is Tenvoorde Ford's standard procedure that when a vehicle is finished with service, the keys to the vehicle are set on a desk for an employee to later log that the service was completed on said vehicle.
It is also procedure that if a potential customer is to test drive a vehicle, the customer must provide an ID, sign paperwork, and is escorted by a sale's associate to the vehicle that is to be driven. JERRY DEVAUGHN HARRELL III, [DOB REDACTED], the Defendant herein, had walked into the Ford dealership and grabbed the keys for the Ford Transit from a service team member's desk. The Defendant then returned to the dealership with the keys as if he was the owner of the vehicle and needed help finding it after the service was completed.
The Defendant is not the owner of the vehicle, nor had permission to move, drive, or test drive the vehicle by Tenvoorde Ford. The Defendant did not provide a copy of his identification, nor did he fill out paperwork for a test drive. The Defendant drove the vehicle across the street to Speedway gas station located on 2nd Street South, city of Saint Cloud, county of Stearns to refill the vehicle with gas. Officer Pusateri approached the Defendant and asked if the Ford Transit was his, to which the Defendant stated that it was.
The Defendant then stated that he drove the vehicle to the gas station because he was test driving it. The Defendant was searched incident to arrest by St. Cloud Police Officer Rebecca Okerstrom, and she found the keys to the Ford Transit on the Defendant's person. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named Defendant, on or about the 16th day of December, 2025, in the City of Saint Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
