While at a Tumble Fresh located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] NW, in the City of Coon Rapids in the County of Anoka, around 3:00 pm on 10/17/2025, CRM's wallet fell under one of the seats as he did laundry. Not realizing that it was not in his pocket, CRM returned home, and it was not until later in the evening when he realized it was missing. Approximately 2 hours later, Cole Timothy Denwiddie [DOB REDACTED], herein Defendant, noticed the wallet on the floor and went through it. He took the cash from it, and used two credit cards to load credit onto his Tumble Fresh Card.
When the wallet was returned to CRM by a different patron, the cash and both credit cards were missing. Surveillance video obtained from Tumble Fresh establish that no one else came upon the wallet between the time of the victim [NAME REDACTED]. During a phone interview Defendant, upon being told that there was video of the incident stated "alright yeah it was me." He also admitted to using the card "to see if it would work at Tumble Fresh." Between the lost cash and fraudulent credit card transactions, the loss was $1,600.
