David Paul Yovetich

On March 25, 2026, a Metro Transit Police Department Officer was responding to an unrelated matter related to a bus at Emerson and 26th Avenue, in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, when the officer observed David Paul Yovetich [DOB REDACTED], "Defendant" herein, exit the bus. The officer recognized Defendant from stopping and citing Defendant for smoking and trespassing on the transit an hour prior. Defendant was placed under arrest. In booking Defendant at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, a deputy located small bags of suspected drugs in Defendant's right sock.

The contents of one bag weighed approximately 0.36 gram without packing and field tested positive for methamphetamine. The contests of another bag weighed approximately 0.18 gram without packing and field tested positive for cocaine. Defendant is currently in custody.
