On October 31, 2025 at 3:32 A.M. Law enforcement was dispatched to an assault that had just occurred at a residence located on the 400 block of 2nd Street North in the City of Sartell, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Officers arrived on scene and observed T. T. E. (adult male fully identified in the police reports), lying on the ground. T. T. E. Had a lump on his forehead, a swollen bloodied bottom lip, swelling to his left eye. Blood streaks under and around his nose reaching to his right cheek, redness near his right ear and blood inside his mouth.
T. T. E. Was at the residence with S. M. C. (adult female fully identified in the police reports). T. T. E. Said he was sleeping when he heard a male, later identified as Carlos Lamont Agee, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, banging on the door. T. T. E. Heard the defendant yelling, threatening to damage their vehicles and to kill them if they did not let him into the residence. S. M. C. Told T. T. E. That the person banging on the door was the defendant, her ex-boyfriend. When T. T. E. Opened the door, the defendant ran inside and asked T. T. E. If he was sleeping in "the bed". The defendant told T. T. E. To leave.
When T. T. E. Refused to leave, the defendant punched T. T. E. In the face approximately eight times, wrapped his arm around T. T. E.'s neck and choked him while saying "go to sleep". T. T. E. Said he lost consciousness and when he was awoken by S. M. C., the defendant was gone. S. M. C. Stated the defendant had been blowing up her phone prior to coming over and banging on the door. Officers viewed S. M. C.'s call log and saw 19 missed phone calls and several additional calls, some of which S. M. C. Had answered, from the defendant leading up to the assault.
Officers learned through their investigation that Flock (an automated license plate reader) records showed a vehicle associated with the defendant from previous contacts had recently left the area southbound on Riverside Avenue. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or about the 31st day of October 2025, in the City of Sartell, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
