Probable Cause
At approximately 11:30 PM on April 4, 2026, the Chaska Police Department responded to a residence on Symphony Lane in the City of Chaska, Carver County, based on a report of a domestic assault. Upon arriving, officers spoke with K. M., who indicated she had been assaulted by her husband, Michael Dennis McKeehan [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant. K. M. Told Officer Miranda that Defendant is often abusive to her. K. M. Stated that tonight they were in the basement and that Defendant punched her in the shoulder area and it was believed that her clavicle had broken.
It was later confirmed that K. M. Had broken her arm. Defendant then grabbed K. M. By the hair and attempted to pull her up the stairs. Officer spoke with Defendant, and noted he smelled strongly of alcohol. Defendant stated K. M. Had been harassing him and that at one point he splashed water on her to get her to go away. Defendant stated he tried to push K. M. Toward the stairs and that in doing so, K. M. Fells to the ground. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
