On April 30, 2026, at 3:41 P.M., Saint Paul Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Randolph Avenue on a Burglary and mail theft. Officer arrived and spoke with KB, building manager. KB said an employee went to the model apartment used to show to new renters, and discovered someone had been there. KB said someone slept in the bed the previous night and there were opened Amazon packages in the apartment. Additionally, food in the apartment was eaten. Inside the apartment, there were open Amazon packages on the countertop.
In total, there was open mail addressed to fifteen different people at apartments at the complex. It also appeared that someone slept in the apartment. KB allowed officers to view video. The video showed a female wearing a gray sweatshirt with a logo on the front, black leggings, and socks with suckers on them. The female picked up packages, carried them outside of the mailroom, and left. As Offices were investigating the case, a second caller reported a female was outside and trying to break into the model apartment.
Officers responded and saw a female-identified as SABRINA SHERICE PRICE, [DOB redacted]-outside of the model apartment. Having viewed the video of the mail theft suspect, Officer Falkowski immediately recognized PRICE as the suspect. PRICE was arrested. PRICE wore the same socks (suckers on them) as the suspect in the mail theft video and the same silver ring on her left ring finger. ERH said she saw PRICE trying to shake the handle of the model unit with force. When the door did not open, PRICE moved to the main entrance, and shook the handle with force.
A package from Sephora addressed to KW was open and inside the model apartment, but the content was missing. A package addressed to BJW was open and inside the model apartment, but the content was missing. NKH said he was missing items that he ordered. His ordered SD card and camera lanyard were found inside of apartment #145 by management. IMI said she was missing a pair of Abercrombie pants that she ordered. AGE said she ordered wall décor. A package with AGE’s name was found in apartment #145. NDR said she ordered a sweater that she did not receive. When arrested, PRICE wore a sweater that still had tags. NDR confirmed the sweater worn by PRICE was the sweater she ordered. After a Miranda advisory, PRICE spoke to an investigator. PRICE said she rented apartment #145 for a week for the amount of $500 in cash. PRICE said some of the packages in the apartment were hers and some came with the apartment.
When PRICE was shown photos of her holding the packages in the mailroom and lobby area, PRICE terminated the interview and said she did not want to speak to investigators. KB was contacted by an investigator. KB said that the complex does not offer one-week leases. KB also said that PRICE is not a resident.
