On December 10, 2025, at approximately 4:32 P.M., Metro transit Police were dispatched to a narcotics call located at the transit station near Lagoon Avenue and Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Upon arriving, police observed multiple individuals, including two male suspects engaged in illegal activity. Police identified one of the male suspects as JOHN SAMMIE LOLAR [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Officers ran Defendant's name which returned with an active felony warrant. Defendant was placed under arrest and searched incident to arrest.

In Defendant front jeans pocket, police located two small, folded Post-it notes containing a white powdery substance. Police later processed the substance which field-tested positive as.14 grams and.13 grams of fentanyl. At present, Defendant is in custody. Defendant has a prior 5th Degree Possession conviction in court file 27-CR-14-4350.
