M. Officer Dubbs was alerted that a female individual was dropped off at the Princeton Police Department. Dispatch advised that the female party had waived down a passing vehicle while walking on Rum River Dr. In Sherburne County, MN and was visibly upset. Officer Dubbs then met with the female party, fully identified in reports [hereinafter victim] an observed a laceration above her right eye, strangulation and blood marks around her neck, a bruise on her wrist and her demeanor to be visibly shaken and crying.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] in severe shoulder pain. Victim [NAME REDACTED], identified as TREYNELL TYUS LERON ANDERSON, [DOB REDACTED] [hereinafter defendant] had assaulted her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was driving her to an unknown location, to which she believed he was going to kill her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] attempted multiple times to get out of the vehicle, but the defendant refused to let her leave. Victim [NAME REDACTED] during the ride the defendant bite her on the forehead, choked/strangled her, and twisted her arm, causing severe shoulder pain.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] was finally able to flee from the vehicle at Rum River Road and Hwy 169, in which the defendant then threatened her and backed up the vehicle in an attempt to hit her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] into the ditch to avoid getting hit. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in fear for her safety and that she believed the defendant was going to kill her. Victim was then transported to hospital to be treated for her injuries. A KOPS alert was then issued for the defendant, and the defendant was taken into custody by Minneapolis Police Department and transported to Sherburne County Jail.
The defendant as given his Miranda rights and reported to law enforcement that the victim [NAME REDACTED] in the eye and bit his finger. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49, intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
