On September 16, 2025 S. J. Reported to Chaska police a theft from Chaska Kohl's in Carver County. S. J. Reported that on August 26, 2025 a known suspect had stolen $1,070.00 worth of makeup from Kohl's. Officers spoke with S. J. Who reported that a previous theft was involved in July with the same suspect who was identified as Keenan Davante Harris (3-19-1992), hereinafter Defendant. On August 26, 2025 Defendant entered Kohl's with a large black tote bag and grabbed items off shelves and placed them in the bag.
It appeared Defendant had a key to the fragrance shelf as those items are secured. The surveillance showed Defendant entering, 6 feet tall, heavy build, wearing gray sweatpants, a dark gray sweatshirt, and a blue baseball hat. He was immediately recognizable to loss prevention due to prior thefts. Defendant entered the Sephora section and took multiple items and concealed them. Defendant left the store without paying for the items. Officers compared the suspect to Defendant's driver's license photo and it was a match.
