Maria Yvonne Ellis

On September 11, 2025, Holiday Gas Station, [ADDRESS REDACTED]. D., New Brighton, Ramsey County reported that a former employee, Maria Yvonne Ellis, 01/29/1998, had stolen $1061.99 in tobacco products and $133.00 in food from the business from April 22, 2025, through August 12, 2025. Video surveillance documented the thefts while Ellis was working. In addition, the business provided audit sheets, a transaction journal, and a spread sheet documenting the thefts. Another employee, WS, told investigators that she had a conversation with Ellis about the thefts.

Ellis told WS that she was stealing from the business because the manager did not give her enough hours. Investigators have been unable to locate Ellis for an interview.
