On October 17, 2025 at approximately 8:39 pm Moorhead Police Officer Tol was dispatched to take a report of a domestic assault. The caller indicated she had been punched by NOLAN RYAN WOLLE, [DOB REDACTED], (hereinafter "defendant") and then thrown out of a vehicle. The vehicle was described as a maroon Ford pickup headed southbound on 19 1/2 Street South in Moorhead located in Clay County, Minnesota. Upon arrival at the location, Officer Tol met with JMH (hereinafter "Victim") who appeared to have a swollen left eye.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been asked to come to a location where the defendant was with some of his friends. Upon arrival, the Defendant tried to get Victim to smoke methamphetamine with them. Victim told the officer that she had been sober for 15 days and refused the pipe offered to her by the defendant. Victim stated that the defendant then got verbally aggressive and told her "we are going home, get into my f**king truck". Victim [NAME REDACTED] into the truck and the defendant then punched her several times with his right hand.
Victim said the defendant then opened the truck door, pushed her out and left. Victim stated that she and the defendant have dated for 5 years and lived together off and on. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order (DANCO) previously in effect but it had been dropped two weeks prior. Victim was unable to provide an address where the defendant resides. Officer Tol was unable to locate the Defendant or contact via telephone. On October 21, 2025 Officer Tol conducted follow up photographs with the victim.
Officer Tol noted the victim's left eye was purple and pink with visible bruising. While Officer Tol photographed the injury, Victim provided further details of the assault indicating that when she got into the truck the defendant was waving the meth pipe at her and blew smoke in her face from the pipe. Victim stated she grabbed the pipe and threw it out of the pickup. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was when the defendant grabbed her by the throat and started punching her. Officer Tol also went through Danger Assessment questions with the victim.
During the assessment, the victim indicated that the physical violence had increased in severity/frequency during the past year. The defendant had been arrested in the August of 2023 for assaulting the Victim. As a result he was convicted of a disorderly conduct on July 17, 2024 which where the recently dismissed DANCO has been issued. A further review of defendant's criminal history indicates a conviction for 5th Degree Assault on May 31, 2022.
