On November 27, 2025, at approximately 4:43 A.M., Officer Strong was on routine patrol in the area of University Avenue N. E. And 57th Avenue N. E., in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, when he observed a Mercedes Benz C300 bearing North Dakota license plate CMAYOR. The officer followed the vehicle as it entered onto Interstate 694 and observed it tapping its brakes and jerking within its lane. The vehicle exited onto East River Road N. E. Without using a turn signal. On the exit ramp from Interstate 694, the vehicle turned its signal on for one click and then turn it off.
As the vehicle approached a stop light, it hit the brakes and then cut over the solid white line into the turn lane. The vehicle failed to signal 100 feet prior to its lane change. The officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as C Daniel T Bundor, [DOB redacted], the defendant herein. Defendant displayed bloodshot and watery eyes. Defendant spoke with slurred speech. When asked how many alcoholic beverages he had consumed, defendant replied, "nothing." The officer asked defendant to exit the vehicle and once outside, the officer could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from defendant.
Defendant showed balance and motor skills impairment on the following field sobriety tests: horizontal gaze nystagmus; one‐legged stand; walk and turn. Defendant subsequently blew a fail reading of.221 on a PBT tester box at the scene. After being read a Minnesota Implied Consent Advisory, defendant agreed to submit to a DataMaster test. That test revealed the defendant's alcohol concentration to be 0.22 at 5:43 A.M. On November 27, 2025.
