The call notes stated caller said her ex- boyfriend went into her apartment and assaulted her and her daughter. Officer Osman arrived and met ASR. ASR said her ex-boyfriend, BAILEY, took her vehicle three days prior. He returned to her apartment on this night and used her apartments keys that are attached to her vehicle keys to enter. They were involved in a verbal argument about him taking her vehicle without her permission. Her nine-year-old daughter, W1, and seventeen-year-old son were present.

The argument continued into the kitchen. BAILEY stepped out of the apartment briefly. When he returned, the argument continued. At one point, BAILEY shoved her to the floor with both of his hands. He yelled, “Bitch, you need to get your life together.” W1 said she saw BAILEY shove ASR in the kitchen. BAILEY also shoved her to the floor in the living room. W1 said she feared for her safety and ran into the bathroom. In a follow-up conversation with an investigator, ASR said she has been together with BAILEY since June 2025. There have been prior incidents of violence in their relationship, but police have not been called.

BAILEY refers to this prior incidents as “play fighting” with her. During blueprint questions, ASR said that she believes BAILEY will act on his threats to beat her and her son. BAILEY said he would beat her and her son up after he got out of jail.
