On December 9, 2025, around 3:19pm, Fridley officers responded to Unity Hospital in Fridley, Anoka County, MN, regarding multiple staff members being assaulted by a male later identified as JEREMIAH PAUL WOBBE [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Defendant was reportedly being discharged from the hospital when he became confrontational with staff members. Practitioner A. K. T. Reported that Defendant threatened him, including saying, "You're going to f****** die!" A. K. T. Said he immediately left the situation due to the Defendant's behavior and threats.
He believed Defendant could and would physically harm him. Security guards, including D. J. D. And R. W. K., then intervened. D. J. D. Stated that the Defendant was becoming verbally aggressive, clenching his fists, and attempting to punch his supervisor. He added that they were trying to restrain Defendant when Defendant spat in his face. R. W. K. Reported the same, mentioning that Defendant also spat on him. It's unclear at this time where precisely in the hospital this incident occurred. Defendant has at least two prior qualified domestic violence-related offense convictions within the last three years.
He was convicted of misdemeanor 5th Degree Assault on 11/17/25 in Stearns County (73-CR- 25-2366) and gross misdemeanor 4th Degree Assault on 12/21/23 in Ramsey County (••-CR-••-••••). He is also currently on probation for a previous felony criminal damage to property conviction in Ramsey County (••-CR-••-••••). Additionally, he has an active warrant in that case for probation violations and for failing to appear at a hearing. As of the filing of this complaint, Defendant is in the custody of the Anoka County Jail.
