On October 10, 2025, law enforcement responded to the 1900 block of Hayes St NE in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a report of a domestic abuse in progress. Call remarks indicated that the caller, Victim herein, was being assaulted by her ex, identified as CHRISTOPHER LAMAR ANDERSON, defendant herein. Call remarks indicated that Defendant left the scene in a vehicle and that Defendant was potentially armed. Upon arrival, officers met with Victim and observed her to have dried blood in her nose.
Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in a relationship with Defendant for around ten months, and that they got into a fight because she would not take him to the gas station to purchase cigarettes. Defendant pulled Victim's hair when she tried to exit the vehicle and pushed her to the ground, causing her to fall face first. Victim was hesitant to share what happened and refused to allow photos of her injuries. A neighbor witnessed Defendant and Victim arguing outside their residence and stated that Defendant was yelling aggressively and had Victim cornered against a tree.
The neighbor also reported that Defendant left and then came back in a vehicle full of females who all yelled at Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant has several prior convictions for qualified domestic violence related offenses enhancing this to a felony level assault: ••-CR-••-••••, Violate No Contact Order ([DOB REDACTED]) ••-CR-••-••••, Threats of Violence ([DOB REDACTED]) Defendant is currently out of custody, and the State is respectfully requesting a warrant due to concerns for Victim's safety.
