On November 21, 2025, officers with the Bloomington Police Department responded to a past action theft from REI at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officer learned that on November 18, 2025, a heavy set, short, African American female and a heavy set, tall, African American male, entered the store together. They went to the children’s section where they took a total of 6 items, valued at $900 total. The two then passed all points of sale without attempting to pay for the items.
The female carried the items out of the store as the two left. Loss Prevention staff works closely with a Roseville Detective who believed the suspect to be MICHELLE TAHONNEY SALLEY, [DOB REDACTED], “Defendant” herein. An officer reviewed known images of Defendant and surveillance footage and positively identified her as the person stealing from REI on November 18, 2025. Defendant has previously been convicted of multiple theft offenses, including gross misdemeanor theft in ••-CR-••-•••• on or about September 13, 2023. Defendant is currently in custody on a separate matter, a retail theft that occurred in Maple Grove on November 28 2025. Defendant has been charged with a felony in that matter in ••-CR-••-••••. To secure Defendant’s appearance the State requests a warrant.
