On 12/5/2025 at approximately 2:04 hours, officers were dispatched to [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Minneapolis, Hennepin County for a domestic with weapons. Upon arrival, officers found Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the roadway in front of the address. She appeared panicked and was having difficulty answering questions. Victim DM stated that her partner, Rashedah Kozett Haleem, [DOB REDACTED] (now referred to as "DEFENDANT") had stabbed her with a large kitchen knife. Victim DM stated that DEFENDANT appeared impaired by either alcohol or drugs.
Officers observed a laceration to Victim DM's leg. DEFENDANT was located in the apartment and taken into custody. Victim DM was transported to the hospital. Victim DM explained to officers that she had gotten in an argument earlier with DEFENDANT. She stated DEFENDANT called her "b****" and threatened to kill her. Victim DM said the argument escalated and DEFENDANT punched her with a closed fist in the face approximately four times. DEFENDANT pulled her dreads and then grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her in the leg.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] could feel the blood running down her leg and feared she was going to die. Victim DM was able to escape through the front door and called 911. Victim [NAME REDACTED] has been in a relationship with DEFENDANT for thirteen years, and they have been married for seven years. DEFENDANT is in custody at the Hennepin County Jail. A DANCO is requested.
