On 10/17/2025 at 23:40, Prior Lake Police officers were on patrol on Eagle Creek Ave and Franklin Trl., Prior Lake, Scott County, Minnesota, when the officer saw a vehicle he had seen in the past, and knew the registered owner, RICHARD STEPHEN GUNDERSEN, [DOB REDACTED], had an active warrant out of Dakota for Failure to Appear and had a revoked license. The officer stopped the vehicle in the Holiday Gas Station. The driver was identified as ADB, [DOB REDACTED]. ADB stated she knew she did not have a valid license.
Officers found the Defendant inside the gas station. The Defendant was taken into custody. The officer asked the Defendant if he had anything on his person and he stated, "a bowl. For meth". The officer found the glass bubble pipe located in the Defendant's front right pant pocket that was heavily wrapped in napkins. The pipe had suspected methamphetamine residue inside of it. The Defendant was taken to the Scott County Jail for his FTA warrant out of Dakota County. Officers field test the substance in the pipe and found it tested positive for methamphetamine, a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and weighed.3 grams.
The substance was sent to the BCA Forensic Laboratory for testing. On 12/04/2025 the officer received the results from the BCA Forensic Laboratory, which showed the substance tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed.343 grams.
