Based upon the information contained therein, your Complainant believes the following to be true and correct: That at approximately 10:02 P.M. On November 27, 2025, Officer Pfeiffer was out on routine patrol near Keats Avenue and 90th Street in the City of Cottage Grove, Washington County, Minnesota, when observed a Mitsubishi Eclipse traveling southbound Keats Avenue traveling well below the posted 55 MPH speed limit. Officer Pfeiffer dropped in behind the Eclipse and observed it to be weaving within its lane.
Officer Pfeiffer conducted a plate check on the Eclipse and learned that the temporary registration expired on August 10, 2025. The Eclipse then entered northbound US Highway 61 and Officer Pfeiffer initiated a traffic stop. Once stopped Officer Pfeiffer approached and asked the male driver for his driver’s license. The male driver stated he was without his driver’s license and then denied having any other form of identification with him. Officer Pfeiffer then asked the male driver to write down on a note pad his name and date of birth.
The driver wrote down the name DEDRION YOUNG with a date of birth of 12/31/1999. Officer Pfeiffer returned to his squad and ran the information. It came back not on file. Officer Pfeiffer found a Dedrion Young with a date of birth of 12/28/1999 out of Illinois. Officer Pfeiffer returned to the Eclipse and informed the driver that his birthdate was not the 31st but rather the 28th. The male confirmed that his birthdate was 12/28/1999. The Defendant then admitted that he had a warrant for “driving” and that his real name was one RANDALL LEJUNTAE BREWSTER, JR., hereinafter referred to as “the Defendant.” The Defendant also admitted that DEDRION YOUNG, with a date of birth of 12/28/1999, was “his brother.” Officer Pfeiffer confirmed DEDRION YOUNG was a real person.
Officer Pfeiffer also confirmed that the Defendant had two warrants out of Washington County for domestic related offenses and a warrant out of Wisconsin for OWI. Officer Pfeiffer, when viewing the Defendant’s driving record, observed that his status in Minnesota was “revoked.” The Defendant was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail on the outstanding warrants. The above facts constitute PROBABLE CAUSE to believe that on or about the 27th day of November, 2025, in the City of Cottage Grove, Washington County, State of Minnesota, one RANDALL LEJUNTAE BREWSTER, JR. Committed the above described offenses.
